✨ Training wishes connected directly to your LMS with LMS Wishes
What exactly is it, and what’s the goal? 🤔
Until now, employees typed their training wishes as free text, such as “Renew construction machinery certification”. HR then had to find the matching reference in the LMS, one training at a time. Zest now connects to your LMS (starting with Training Square) and shows employees your organization’s actual catalog, with the official titles, offer codes, skills and certification details. The goal: turn a training wish into a request that’s ready to process, with no re-entry and no manual matching. This matters most for mandatory certifications, which employees need to be qualified for their work.
How does it work? 🧐
In the review builder, the new “LMS Wishes” block is in the Training category, next to the “Open wishes” block. Employees pick their training from the catalog: they can search by title, certifying skill or offer number, or browse by domain. For a certifying course, they specify the skill and level they need. In the contribution screen, managers give each wish a priority and a status (Approved / To discuss / Rejected). Depending on the block settings, they can also suggest trainings themselves. Approved wishes are then sent automatically to Training Square with the correct reference. The catalog updates every night and only contains your organization’s trainings. Wishes outside the catalog stay in Zest and can be exported to Excel. The feature is enabled on request through your Zest contact.
