To do so, a number of “boxes” must be checked to ensure the project’s success and maximize tool adoption. Below is a checklist of essential actions to complete on your side to prepare for the launch of your project.

Please read the content of this page and submit your answers in the form included in the welcome email. This information is essential to help define your success plan with your CSM.

Without submitting your answers, the one-hour kickoff meeting cannot take place (and will be canceled if already scheduled).

Governance and sponsorship are key success factors for your Zest project. The more internal resources you mobilize to actively participate in the deployment, the greater the chances of success.

Different roles can be identified within a project team, as illustrated below:

You are likely both the Project Leader and a Super Admin. It is up to you to identify the collaborators who can act as your champions!

Why did you choose Zest?

What are your objectives?

What do you plan to launch first?

On what scope?

Why?

What success criteria have you defined for your first campaigns with Zest?

These are all crucial questions to address beforehand so that the entire team aligns on the chosen direction and you can better measure success throughout the project.

A SWOT analysis (Strengths Weaknesses Opportunities Threats) is an exercise that will help you identify, ahead of launch, the strengths and risk factors specific to your organization that could impact the success of your Zest project.

Here are a few examples:

Strength example: The Zest tool meets employee expectations, which should facilitate adoption

Weakness example: Employees are not used to digital tools, so support will be required

Opportunity example: Zest will help strengthen our Employer Brand

Risk example: Creating employee frustration if no action is taken following survey results

Defining a yearly plan for your Zest usage is also one of the key success factors for your project.

It is not enough to know which feature you will launch first.

What do you plan to launch next?

Defining your roadmap will help you connect the different features together and sustain long-term adoption of the tool among your employees.

📄 Below are examples of a macro-planning (editable) 👇

💡
Each of these elements will enable your CSM to build a success plan with you.

This is a crucial step. Studies have shown that:

37% of projects fail due to poorly defined objectives

83% of IT projects do not deliver as initially planned

🧡
The success plan allows you to:
  • Keep the project on the “right” track
  • Measure the success of your project
  • Measure your ROI
To validate this step: Complete the form you received in the welcome email (to be completed only once). Only then will the date of your kickoff meeting be confirmed.

At this stage, the goal is to advise you and validate the provisional roadmap together.

🚀
