1️⃣ Prepare Talent Reviews Before Committees

What is it and what’s the goal? 🤔

Preparing talent reviews allows committee members to edit the matrix before the committee, so everyone arrives with a clear and shared view of the profiles.

👉 All members work on a single shared matrix: there are no individual drafts. Every change is visible to the entire committee.

Key objectives:

  • Prepare analyses ahead of the committee
  • Align viewpoints before discussions
  • Save time on the day of the committee
  • Provide the president with a matrix that’s already enriched

How does it work? 🧐

  • A preparation step can be activated when configuring the People Review.
  • Committee members receive an email inviting them to prepare the matrix.
  • The matrix is unique and shared: everyone can edit it during the preparation phase.
  • At the start of the committee by the president, members immediately lose editing rights, and the president regains exclusive control of the matrix.

2️⃣ Customize 9Box Labels

What is it and what’s the goal? 🤔

This update allows customizing the 9Box labels to adapt the matrix to the needs and vocabulary of each organization.

👉 Labels are frozen for each People Review: once the campaign is created, they cannot be changed.

How does it work? 🧐

  • Define the 9Box labels according to the needs of your organization.
  • Contact your Zest CSM and submit the modification request.
  • The Zest Tech team updates the labels directly in the database (no interface is available yet).
  • When a People Review is created, the labels are frozen in the campaign and automatically reflected in Excel exports.

3️⃣ Filter Collaborators by Scope for Committee Members

What is it and what’s the goal? 🤔

Scope filtering ensures that committee members see only their direct and N‑1 reports.

👉 Each member gets a team-focused view, with data and exports tailored to their scope.

How does it work? 🧐

  • Committee members see only their direct and N‑1 reports in the table, 9Box, and Excel exports.
  • Super Admins and Presidents retain full access to all committees.

✨ A clearer People Review experience, with each member focused on their own teams.
