User Import
What is it exactly? 🤔
The User Import feature has been redesigned and improved to be more intuitive and flexible.
Among the enhancements, two major updates stand out:
- Two import types: incremental and differential
- Admin import: delegation within their scope
What’s the goal? 🎯
- Add or update your users more easily
- Give admins more autonomy while respecting rights and scopes
- Synchronize your data according to your needs (simple additions or full cleanup)
New features in detail 🆕
1️⃣ Import types: incremental vs differential
- Incremental: adds new users and updates existing users’ information if it has changed, without deleting anyone.
- Differential: updates existing users, adds new ones, and deletes those no longer in the file. ⚠️ Caution: differential is powerful and should be used carefully.
2️⃣ Admin import: delegation
- Department or location admins can now import users within their scope, if the rights are enabled in the Back Office.
How does it work? 🧐
Go to the Back Office, Users tab, then Import.
Choose the import mode and enjoy all the new features: new interface, improved error messages, clear tracking of actions, and more.
