Customize your brand identity on Zest

2 min read

Zest allows you to customize the platform interface so that it reflects your visual identity (logo and colors).

This customization improves the Employee experience and reinforces consistency with your employer brand.

🔐 Prerequisite

Interface customization is available only to Super Admins.

🧭 Access customization settings

  1. Click on your first name / last name at the top right of the Zest interface.
  1. Go to the Back Office.
  1. In the left sidebar, click Global settings.
  1. Then select Configuration.

You will arrive on the configuration management page for your organization.

⚙️ Case 1: single entity (default configuration)

This case corresponds to an organization with a single entity configured in Zest.

Steps to follow:

  1. On the “Default” configuration (the first displayed at the top of the list),
  1. Click on the three small dots,
  1. Then click Edit.

Available customization:

  • Add your logo
  • Customize interface colors (main color, visual elements)
  • Preview the rendering directly in the interface

Then click Save.

👉 Your new colors and logo are immediately applied and visible to the relevant users.

🧩 Case 2: multiple entities (multi-entity)

This mode is recommended if you have:

  • multiple legal entities
  • subsidiaries
  • or distinct populations (by department, location, etc.)

Each entity can then have its own visual identity.

➕ Add a new entity configuration

If you want to create a specific configuration:

  1. Click Add a configuration
  1. Enter:
    • the configuration name (internal use)
    • the display name (visible in emails, exports, and documents)
    • the target population, defined via the Smart Org (department, location, etc.)

Once the configuration is created:

  • click on the three small dots
  • then click Edit

You will then be able to:

  • add a specific logo
  • define the interface colors for this entity
  • then save

✏️ Edit an existing configuration

For an already configured entity:

  • click on the three small dots
  • then Edit
  • update the logo and/or colors
  • click Save

The changes are immediately applied to the relevant population.

ℹ️ Default behavior

If a population does not match any specific configuration, it will automatically be linked to the default configuration (“Default”).

✅ Best practices

  • Check the consistency of your Smart Org before assigning configurations
  • Test the display with a pilot user
  • Use contrasting colors to ensure readability
  • Anticipate the impact on emails and exports, which also use the display name
